Help Us Help Others
The society is a direct way to fulfill Christ’s teaching to remember the poor among us. We operate the St. Vincent de Paul telephone helpline and provide direct assistance to families who live within our parish boundaries and are struggling to afford food, rent or utilities. We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the St. Francis Room.
Our conference is always in need of more members to help us respond to those in need. Training is provided which enables volunteers to understand both the spiritual and practical aspects of our work. Contact Jim Paton at jimp@svdpalexandria.org, or 703-200-1290.
